The excitement surrounding a family Christmas quickly subsides when the usual family grievances like who didn’t change the toilet paper roll, who drinks all the beer and who keeps on taking your cellphone charger emerges. It is also around the festive time that the deepest secrets find their way to the surface and family members have to deal with these unexpected realities. But Christmas is also the most wonderful (magical) time of the year and some exposed truths cause more happiness than tears.
